Finnair flights are back on track on Friday following a two-day strike by pilots earlier in the week.

The national air carrier expects to fly all of Friday's 200 scheduled flights on time. On Thursday it flew 170 out of 200 scheduled flights.

The labour dispute was resolved on Tuesday. Some 730 flights were cancelled due to the strike, affecting the journeys of some 47,000 travellers. The strike also disrupted mail deliveries.

Finnair estimates that it lost between three and five million euros per day during the strike. The airline is now starting to review reimbursement claims from passengers.
