Remodelling work at Helsinki-Vantaa airport that began Saturday has temporarily reduced the number of available check-in desks and security checkpoints.
The work has closed the check-in hall in terminal three. Remodelling has also reduced the number of check-in desks and security checkpoints in terminal two.
Check-in facilities have been added to other areas, but passengers are being advised to arrive at the airport earlier than normal because of possible delays.
The renovations are part of upgrades to the airport's baggage handling system. Terminal three is scheduled to be back in use next March.
