Hannu Lintu to feature large-scale works in the FRSO’s 2013/2014 season

Masterpieces, celebrated international guests and a new Chief Conductor

The FRSO’s new Chief Conductor Hannu Lintu continues the orchestra’s varied and innovative programming policy. The core repertoire for the 2013/2014 season again consists of great masterpieces of the Classical-Romantic era. The orchestra will be acting host to a number of new guest conductors and soloists, such as piano virtuoso Daniil Trifonov, star violinist Daniel Hope, conductor rocket Pablo Heras-Casado, and magnificent sopranos Mojca Erdmann and Marisol Montalvo. Making repeat visits will be such favourite conductors as Kurt Masur and Tugan Sokhiev. All the concerts conducted by Lintu in the autumn season will be televised live.
